HTC Sensation review

Sensation is the flagship Android phone from HTC. And to befit this status, it packs enough muscle in its 148grams to shame Arnold Schwarzenegger. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm processor that runs its two cores at a zippy 1.2 Ghz. There is 768MB RAM to ensure smooth multitasking and 1GB ROM to satisfy those who love to install every app that meets their eyes.
Build quality of Sensation is typical HTC. Or in other words, excellent. The phone looks similar to Mozart, a Windows Phone 7 device that HTC had brought to India earlier this year. It's an elegant design, making good use of rounded edges and curves. However, unlike Mozart, Sensation does not use a unibody shell. Its back cover, which is made up of aluminum and plastic coated with soft rubber, can be removed to access microSD and SIM card slots.

HTC Sensation display:

HTC Sensation has a 4.3 inches S-LCD capacitive touchscreen display which supports 16M colors with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The high-end smartphone is powered by HTC sense 3.0 user interface which provides a whole new mobile experience. The mobile's size is on the moderate side as it is neither bulky nor too sleek. HTC Sensation has dimensions of 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm and weighs 148 g.

Sensation's 4.3-inch screen is one of its high points. While colours do not pop out the way they do on the Super AMOLED Plus screen of Galaxy S2, for all practical purposes Sensation's Super LCD screen works very well. The qHD (960x540) resolution gives it an edge in terms of sharpness and text looks so much better on Sensation.
